My long service leave came around and the idea of 13 weeks in one block was too irresistible to pass up. With a few weeks annual leave either end we have managed 15 weeks travelling.
What we had always wanted to do was go round Australia. Not really enough time in 15 weeks so we decided to do half….the top half! Basically as it would be winter we decided to miss out most of Southern Australia. One for another trip. Next long service leave is only 5 years away.
We are a family of five. My wife Edwina, myself and three children: Robert (8), Estella (6) and Vivienne (3). We have taken the older two out of school for the whole of term 2 and missing the last week of term 1 (no one does any work in the last week anyway!)
